The best tools and games take weight off your day. If a feature adds friction without earning it, it doesn't ship.
We make apps and games,
one at a time.
J&B Creations is a one-person software studio in Michigan. We build a voice-first productivity app, a creative platform for performance marketers, and a small family of calm, accessible games — each made to respect your time and attention.
What we're building
Seven products across three things we love making: focused productivity, creative tooling for marketers, and games made for a few minutes a day. Built one at a time, by one person.
Tell it everything by voice or text; the AI organizes, then picks the one thing worth doing in your next gap of time. Empathetic productivity for anyone overwhelmed by their own to-do list.
Upload modular hooks, b-roll, and CTAs; ClipSurge renders every permutation as polished, platform-ready ad videos and publishes across 9 social platforms. Built for media buyers running paid creative tests at volume.
Train your color eye in 60 seconds a day. Three rounds scored on perceptual color distance — a small, calm daily ritual for iOS.
A grid lights a sequence; you light it back from memory. Three quiet rounds a day build a lattice that's yours to keep — no timers, no streak pressure.
Classic sudoku, but each row, column, and box holds one of six colorblind-safe colors instead of a number. Three quiet rounds of pure deduction, accessible by default.
A beam waits at the edge of the grid. Place mirrors, prisms, and color filters to bend it to the target, then watch it travel. Three quiet rounds a day — no timers, light made clear.
Run a contraband empire from inside a prison: brew, hustle, dodge the heat, and break out for a bigger, meaner block. A playful-criminal idle game — warm and cheeky, never grim.
Meet Joel
I'm Joel Rightler — the solo developer, designer, and support team behind J&B Creations. I'm also a husband and a father, building from a small studio in Attica, Michigan.
I make software the way I wish more of it were made: by one person who answers the email, fixes the bug, and stands behind the whole thing. Every product here exists because something in my own day felt heavier than it needed to be — so I built the tool, or the game, that made it lighter.
Three principles, every product
Colorblind-safe palettes, WCAG AA contrast, and visible focus aren't add-ons. They're the starting point — across every product.
No handoffs, no committee. The person who designs it builds it, ships it, and answers for it.
